Altar Servers. These parish programs are designed to revitalize and bring our youth back into the service of the Mass while encouraging and exploring the path of vocations and religious life and the priesthood.

• Altar Corps: Members prepare the altar before Mass and serve in the sanctuary alongside our clergy helping with the functions of Mass.  They assist the priest during Sunday Mass, Holy Day Mass, weddings, funerals, Stations of the Cross and Benediction. Altar servers need to be fourth grade or older and have made their First Communion.
• Maidens of Our Lady of the Eucharist Altar Society: Members participate in the Mass through bringing up the Gifts, as Lectors, and by creating a Marian Sanctuary Flower Garden to beautify our sanctuaries.  They wear pins in accordance to the liturgical year as they perform their duties. 

Both groups fill a special role supporting the Mass and they are open to our youth who have made their First Holy Communion. We encourage each Altar Server to continue serving through high school, and even to come back during their college breaks. We also welcome adults to serve as Altar Servers for both regular Masses and for funerals. All candidates must attend a training session, and have the commitment and ability to perform this role with reverence.
